There are several ways via which you can reach the holy Dham, such as:

By Air: Take a direct flight from Hyderabad to Dehradun. Then, hire a cab to reach Gaurikund. From there, you can either trek or hire a Pony/Palki to reach the temple.

By Train: Take a HYB DDN Express from Hyderabad to Haridwar. The whole journey takes around 32-36 hours. From Haridwar, you can hire a taxi/cab to reach Gaurikund.

By Road: Direct road travel from Hyderabad to Haridwar/Dehradun is highly exhaustive and takes several days. It’s best if you reach Dehradun/Haridwar by any of the above methods. And from Dehradun or Haridwar onwards, hire a taxi or cab. The private taxis cost around INR 7,000 and INR 10,000.

By Helicopter: Fly to Dehradun Airport first. From there on, go to Sersi, Phata, or Guptkashi helipad. All of these are located over 200 km from the airport and can be reached via taxi. The helicopter tickets cost around INR 5,000 to INR 8,000 one way. The heli ride takes under 10 minutes to drop you at Kedarnath helipad, which is just 500 metres away from the temple.
